These renditions avoid aligning the inherent symmetries of the pattern with those of the projection. Would a more symmetric design appeal more?
I arranged the patterns in order of the area of the repeat unit, with the finest at the top; I’m not surprised that Perry likes those best (I generally do too).
Some, but the beauty of modern services for this sort of thing is that you don’t need to make any in advance in order to set up a store to sell them.
(The ones I like the most are the ones near the top with the least white space.)

This page formerly listed twenty-seven; I removed twelve for being unnecessarily similar to others.
I should do something with the holes; perhaps a blue background?
