Panda Bramble and Rockstar Hermit Rocky
For “Black Friday” the local Humane Society has a special on black cats; so I took two, born in June. They quickly made themselves at home.
Faré tells me that the French for ‘play tag’ is jouer à chat (‘play at cat’).
The name “Hermit” failed to trip off my tongue, and I decided it doesn’t fit him after all. His former keeper named him Rockstar, equally unsuitable; but Rocky is as good a name as any, so Rocky he is.
My new housemate dislikes the name Rocky, and calls him Peachblossom.
