This compound has rotational freedom. Starting at φ = 0° with a completely coincident overlay of 6 tetrahedra, rotating 2 tetrahedra each, thought of as 2fold antiprisms, around their common axis in opposite directions. At φ = 45° the overall tetrahedral symmetry becomes octahedral. This special case (without rotational freedom) is snu.
This is the hemiversion of dis.
This compound can be vertexinscribed (with full rotational freedom) into risdoh in the same way as each individual tet will be inscribed into each of those cubes.
