Then I looked up Cecil DeMille and was a little surprised that I had never seen any of his work, other than his cameo in <i>Sunset Blvd<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><i>The Big Clock<\/i> (1948) starts slow but pays off quite well.<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed the first half of <i><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jekyll_%28TV_series%29\">Jekyll<\/a><\/i> (2007) more than the second half.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I watched 27 minutes of The Plainsman (1936) and found it unpromising.
