Thursday was the first time, since I started getting up in the dark, that the sky was clear enough that I might see a sunrise. Well, sorta: I was in motion when I first saw the sun that day – popping out from the shoulder of a hill. Does that count??<\/p>\n
Friday evening: possibly a new best for me: I did the NYT crossword between Lake Merritt and Montgomery station. (Except for one letter. I know neither the name of a Japanese baseball pitcher nor that of a steelworkers union boss in 196x-7x.)<\/p>\n
